SELF-DEFENSE AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT, EDUCATION + MORE
The Red Brigade are a crew of child and teenage rape survivors that have trained themselves in diverse self-defense techniques to put an end to epidemic abuse, rape, harassment and murder of girls and women in homes, schools, temples and on the streets. They train girls, change laws and views on girls, have trained 30,000 girls, gained trust of teachers, administration, police and public, army officers send their wives to get trained.Â
They are awesome, because their badass rockstar flair inspires youth all over Earth, teams have sparked in a dozen North Indian cities, they are their state’s largest youth leadership community and their scope of activities has grown to include education, hunger and poverty reduction, job training and entrepreneurship.Â
They deserve our help, because their model can impact millions more in India, shape the future of entire regions girls and women from other continents ask for their help to protect themselves.
We seek to
realize their dream of building a Self-defense Academy with training and de-traumatization rooms, classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, guestrooms, children and youth library, arts programs, tailor and youth leadership training centre connected with schools and partners around the globe, shaping their region’s future.
The land is acquired, construction costs $70,000 and donors get to name what they manifested 🙂
